3 Recipes You Didn't Know You Needed
Your weekend just got a whole lot better…

This week’s theme?
Sweet. Salty. Slightly unhinged.
We’ve got old-school candy, no-churn ice cream, and bacon that tastes like it should cost extra at brunch.
Let’s get into it 👇
1. Sponge Candy
If you know, you know.
Crunchy, airy, golden honeycomb candy coated in chocolate. It shatters when you bite into it and somehow melts instantly.
And yes…making it at home feels like kitchen wizardry.

2. Snow Ice Cream
3 ingredients.
It’s creamy, lightly sweet, and honestly just fun. The kind of recipe you make because you can.
It’s a fun snow day treat, and you can also make it anytime of year since you only use the snow for chilling the no-churn ice cream!

3. Brown Sugar Bacon
This one’s unfair. Thick-cut bacon baked with brown sugar until it caramelizes into sweet, crispy perfection.
It’s salty. It’s sticky. It’s the thing that disappears first at brunch.
Put it next to pancakes. Crumble it over salads. Eat it straight off the rack. No judgment here.

🍫 Food Fact of The Day
Sponge candy (also called honeycomb or seafoam candy) gets its airy texture from baking soda reacting with hot sugar syrup — the same science behind fluffy pancakes and quick breads.
Basically… chemistry is delicious.
